This one should be easy. It is a series of Dos and Don’ts.
Dos
Do sort the laundry by color and fabric type when you can.
Do use good laundry soap.
Do your laundry before you put on your last pair of clean underwear.
Do take your clothes out of the dryer before you have run the dryer four more times to keep the wrinkles away.
Do be considerate in public laundry facilities. Move your clothes from washer to dryer and out of the dryer promptly1Or, you may find your clothes in a wet pile in a basket or on the floor. It happens..
Do use fabric sheets in the dryer2I in fact use two Bounce sheets each load..
Do learn to iron3I suck at ironing, so maybe check out a YouTube how-to video..
Do read labels.
Do wash your sheets and towels at least once a month.
Don’ts
Don’t wash something new with items that could pick up the color. For example, a new pair of red jeans should only be washed with things DARKER and no light points that could absorb the color red.
Don’t overstuff the washer. Or Dryer. It is better to have too few clothes in than too many.
Don’t leave wet clothes in a pile anywhere.
Don’t move other people’s loads in public laundry facilities right away. Give them at least a half an hour to come clear the washer or dryer. It’s nice.
Don’t dry clothes that say do not tumble dry or lay flat to dry4It is ok to hang ‘lay flat’ clothes up. It is also often ok to run ‘lay flat’ clothes thru a cycle of the dryer with zero heat. However, it is probably not wise to waste money on this when are paying per cycle through the dryer..
Don’t wait to wash clothes that are really dirty.
Don’t wash dry clean only clothes.
Don’t leave your clothes in a pile after coming out of the dryer. That will just cause wrinkles.
